So the end has come to another season in Formula Vee and another championship under my belt. Last Monday night the class scrutineer confirmed my sealed engine complied with all the regulations and I was officially the Dunlop Formula Vee Champion. The whole year went quite well for me- securing 6th in the Crowne Plaza “A” championship behind much more experienced racers and winning the Dunlop Championship, all under the watchful eye of Paul Heavey. The season started out in Kirkistown and from the start I was much quicker than I was in 2012 and this continued for me right through the season. Continue reading

Rounds 9 and 10 of the Crowne Plaza National Formula Vee Championship at Mondello Park International were always going to be about championship contenders Adam Macaulay and Ray Moore but it was Trevor Delaney who stole the spoils in qualifying with a blistering lap to put him on pole by 0.8secs from Macaulay with Moore in third. The experienced Moore returned to form at the Vee Festival meeting

After a few bad weekends, Ray Moore bounced back to the top step of the podium with a lights to flag victory in his Bernard Dolan Racing Leastone at round 7 of the Crowne Plaza National Formula Vee Championship at Mondello Park. Moore’s run of bad luck seems to have been passed to championship rivals Adam Macauley and Dan Polley, both having DNF’s from the race. Continue reading
