Following our recent trip to Kirkistown at the end of June the Crowne Plaza Dundalk National Formula Vee championship rolled into Mondello Park for Round 6 on 12th July. The healthy growth of the class seen in 2014 continues with 26 cars entered and 4 new drivers making their debut.Continue reading

Rounds 9 and 10 of the Crowne Plaza National Formula Vee Championship at Mondello Park International were always going to be about championship contenders Adam Macaulay and Ray Moore but it was Trevor Delaney who stole the spoils in qualifying with a blistering lap to put him on pole by 0.8secs from Macaulay with Moore in third.Continue reading

A strong weekend from Adam Macaulay at Bishopscourt put him into joint championship lead

After outqualifying the entire grid by over one second, Adam Macaulay took his first ever win by dominating Round 3 of the Crowne Plaza National Formula Vee Championship at a damp Bishopscourt. Despite a brief challenge at the first corner by the fast starting Kevin Grogan, Macaulay in his Newsome Racing assisted Sheane pulled out a comfortable lead that he maintained all the way to the chequered flag.Continue reading
